Your donation, through the Bakersfield College Foundation, is a tax-deductible donation to a 501(c)3 charitable organization. There are countless ways you can support Bakersfield College \u2014 such as having the Bakersfield College Foundation added into your will<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donate to an Existing Fund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Establish a Fund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Make your tax-deductible donation to a pre-existing scholarship or department fund. Whether you wish to support an academic department, specialty program, scholarship for students, athletic program, or the arts, we have a fund awaiting your donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you know the fund you would like to give to, please indicate it in the memo line of your check or by using the drop-down menus when giving online. Make an Estate Gift<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Whether you are an alum, former faculty or staff member, Renegade fan, or just a friend of Bakersfield College, you can ensure BC\u2019s future generations of students have access to quality, affordable higher education by leaving something to BC in your will. It is easy to do, and it does not affect you during your lifetime. Support in any amount makes a huge difference to our students and faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you put a provision in your will to support Bakersfield College, you will direct your gift to The Bakersfield College Foundation. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and your gifts are tax-deductible as provided by law. The Foundation manages donations that are directed to the college and makes sure that your gifts are used for the purpose(s) you specify. The Foundation has an outside Board of Directors whose mission is to make sure the college flourishes \u201cin perpetuity\u201d\u2013forever!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
